The BondandBowery.com web site (the "Site") is a service of C/34 Corporation d/b/a Bond & Bowery ("Bond & Bowery", "us" or "we"). This Privacy Policy applies only to information that we collect from users of the Site about such users, and does not apply to any other web site or business activity of Bond & Bowery.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information that Bond & Bowery collects and how we use it.  By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by us.

We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time.  When we do, we will give you notice of the revised Privacy Policy by posting the revised Privacy Policy on this web site and by revising the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.  You are responsible for regularly reviewing the current privacy policy.  Your continued use of the Site after we post any revisions constitutes your agreement to any such revisions. 

Information We Collect

We collect "personally identifiable information."

"Personally identifiable information" is information that tells us who you are, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, and credit card information.  We collect this information when you register to use the Site or apply to become a dealer of goods on the Site. 

You can choose not to provide personally identifiable information to us.  However, if you do not provide such information, your ability to use the Site and the services provided thereon will be limited. 

"Automatic information" is information automatically collected by our web server (which may be hosted by a third-party) that your web browser makes available whenever you visit our web site, such as browser type, operating system, IP address and Internet domain.  Bond & Bowery collects such automatic information in aggregate form when you visit the Site. 

Automatic information will not be associated with personally identifiable information.

This web site also uses "cookies," which are pieces of information that are sent to your computer's hard drive to help our site recognize you when you return to our site.  Cookies do not alter your hard drive in any way and cannot be used to access any personal information from your computer.  Cookies are used as a standard practice by many sites.  As important as cookies are to our site, we understand that this might make you uncomfortable.  If you would prefer not to accept cookies from our site or any other site, you can modify the setting on your specific web browser.  Please refer to your browser's online help feature or the user's manual for instructions on how to do this.  Bond & Bowery will not tie personal information to cookies.

Disclosure and Use of Information We Collect

We use personally identifiable information for the purpose for which it was obtained (e.g., to establish your account and/or to facilitate the purchase or sale of items posted on the Site).  We may also use personally identifiable information to (1) send you e-mails about newly listed products, if you choose to receive such e-mails at the time you register; (2) respond to e-mails; (3) provide customer support, (4) profile users of the Site for marketing purposes; and (5) perform other similar functions. 

Cookies will be used to recognize you when you return to the Site.

Our employees are permitted access only to customer information that they may need to perform their jobs and to provide service to you.  All employees are required to respect customer privacy. 

We may provide personally identifiable information to any dealer from whom you purchase merchandise posted on the Site, unless you request that we not identify you to the dealer.  Subject to the foregoing exception, we will not provide personally identifiable information to any outside company or third party. 

We may also disclose personally identifiable information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may have breached our Terms and Conditions of Use, or who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other users of our web site, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.  We may also disclose personally identifiable information when we reasonably believe that the law requires it. 

We might sell or buy subsidiaries, or business units.  In such transactions, personally identifiable information is generally one of the transferred business assets, though it remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.  Also, in the unlikely event that assets of Bond & Bowery are sold, personally identifiable information may be one of the transferred assets.

Privacy of Children

The Site is a general audience web site.  We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from users of this Site who are under the age of thirteen. 

If we become aware that a user of our web site is under the age of 13 and has registered to use our Site, we will remove that child’s personal information from our files.

Security

Bond & Bowery strives to protect your personal information to the best of our ability.  Unfortunately, information transmitted on the Internet and/or stored on systems attached to the Internet is not 100% secure.  As a result, Bond & Bowery cannot ensure, warrant or guarantee the security or integrity of such information. 

You help to maintain the security of your personally identifiable information stored in our systems by keeping your username and password confidential and protecting against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
