Description: Winter Snow, by Walter Emerson Baum, is a lovely miniature oil on panel. The 6 x 9 inch snowscene is signed at lower left, "W.E. Baum". Walter Baum attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He received the Jennie Sesnan Gold Medal from the school in 1925. His work hangs in many public institutions including the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the James A. Michener Art Museum and the National Academy of Design.
