Description: Set of 5 early Piero Fornasetti plates from the very early 1950s. Since the original paper labels were missing we contacted Fornasetti studios for confirmation of authenticity. According to Barnaba Fornasetti, these are amongst the first plates made by Piero. The Richard blanks were originally ceramic. 5 plates four with unique designs and one duplicate. These original plates are hand colored enamel over lithography in the original style.
