Description: Early DAX C. 1954 Charles Eames for Herman Miller Fiberglass armchair in translucent Parchment color. This early transitional piece has the Eames Studio tag from Venice California. Not a Zenith Rope Edge but produced prior to the switch to H bases. Noticeably heavier than the later Fiberglass arm shell chairs. This chair is almost as frash as the day it left the factory. There is discoloration where the shock mounts and tag are placed. X-Base, Larger shock mounts, original boot glides, original Orange Girard fabric cover. The cover locks over the fiberglass chair with a wire frame sewn into the cover.
