Description: A rare Mira floor lamp in fine working condition. The Mira lamp was designed by Mario Arnaboldi in 1984 and manufactured by Programmaluce in Milan Italy. The Mira is featured in the books, "Lux Italia 1930-1990" by P. Castiglioni, "Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000" and Fiell's "1000 lights". The lamp is considered rare as it was only manufactured for one year. Unusual design consisting of a heavily weighted base and three rods, the top two rods can be posed at an angle (as shown), straight up or down. Original white enamel, original floor switch, retains original Programmaluce tag. Measurements given are for lamp as shown. Fully extended the lamp is 71" H
